Manoarino
Marcos Figueiredo Manoarino, better known artistically as simply Manoarino, is an exceptional artist. His artistic drive arose early on in his life. At the age of ten he began to paint, inspired by his father who is also a talented artist. In 1980 he joined the Brazilian Society of Fine Arts, where he remained for two years. To achieve a deeper understanding of painting, Manoarino enrolled in innumerable courses, studying under highly respected professors.

In 1995, having already aquired skilled technique and profound knowledge in painting, Manoarino decided to depart from his earlier practices of landscape and still life in order to dedicate himself to abstract art, or as he describes it, "decorative art."

Manoarino derives pure pleasure from painting. He imbues his work with a festive and happy mood. He uses the knowledge aquired in his academic pursuits to structure his works, imparting to them balance of composition and harmony of color. To apply paint to his canvases, Manoarino uses principally brushes and palette knives, tools whose use he has mastered completely.

Between 1980 and 1985 Manoarino participated in innumerous expositions, both collective and individual, in places such as Valenca, at the Brazilian Society of Fine Arts. To date he has been awarded various prizes and his work has been featured in many auctions.
