Ogunlesi Paul
?My name is Ogunlesi Paul. My friends say I'm versatile, religious, and creative. I am a young, talented painter from Lagos, Nigeria. My paintings are beautiful and radiate hope. From a very young age, I used to trace pictures in comic books. I was very good at that, and my friends encouraged me to continue. This is how I got interested in this art. My ability to express myself freely attracted me to painting.

?Even though I had raw talent, I needed the help of others to become a better artist. I was first tutored by an artist about 15 years ago. Later, I was mentored by Ebenezer Femi and Alaintunde, and I am very grateful for that. I had to paint many hours and sometimes late into the night to master my art. Not wanting to keep all my knowledge to myself, I taught others how to paint.

?I lost my parents in 2003 and have been on my own since then. Starting out wasn't easy, since I had to finance everything. But, I am grateful to God for how far He has brought me. He is truly the father of the fatherless.

?I use watercolor, wax, acrylic paint, newspaper, canvas, and oil paint. I really struggle to sleep if am unable to complete a painting I've started; this is the only challenge with regards to my art. I get inspiration from my meditations, past experiences, and nature. I want to be a gallery owner and an artist with a lot of pieces in notable places around the world, such as Novica.?
