Sitting on the floor legs crossed, a woman holds small pots in her hands. 'This sculpture is meant to bring good luck,' explains Bright Kofi Agbetey. He replicates the image of a Kongo medicine woman from the Bakongo and Bandundu people in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He carves the sese wood sculpture by hand and adorns her nude presence with iron hoop earrings and a yellow necklace of recycled glass beads. The piece features an antiqued finish.
