Salmon fades to a field of paprika in this scarf by Chomsuda Samana of Thailand, handwoven from 100% cotton with fringes on the ends. Following in the footsteps of her mother, the artisan works with her sister to give the scarf a speckled look, employing both batik and tie-dye methods, a two-day process where the fabric is tied and coated with a wax resist before it is submerged in vats of dye.
