Costa Rican artisan Higinia Gonzalez handcrafts a fun and stylish shoulder bag that can be worn across the body or over the shoulder, perfect for the woman on the move. The strap and boldly striped cotton fabric are handwoven on a backstrap loom using time-honored techniques with thread hand dyed by the artisan. Using all natural dyes, the artisan creates stripe motifs in black and silver grey on one side, and a diamond motif in the same colors on the other side. The main compartment is lined in powder blue cotton and secures with a zipper. The bag also has an exterior zippered pocket.
