Costa Rica's Rosario Ramirez handcrafts this pair of button earrings of her own design. She uses a rubber mold to create the earrings, which feature rectangles in bottle green and turquoise blue resin. She calls these earrings Paraiso, named for the town in which she works. Says Ramirez of her craft, 'Nature is beautiful but we must learn to care for and preserve all these marvels that God gives us. My designs also seek to convey this consciousness for our planet.'
