Droplet Gleam

These are lovely red orange petite earrings that look like little droplets of blood when caught in the light. These earrings are very flattering to a small face. The silver that surrounds the stone is lovely & well made; HOWEVER, the posts are large & I had difficulty getting the backs off the posts. I never could reattach the backs as they do not fit properly. I did have another pair of earrings with larger posts so I used the backs of those earrings which I was able to use. I was very disappointed with the obvious flaw & would not have been able to keep these earrings were it not for some spare backs. I have also previously ordered a 2nd pair, green onyx, which have not arrived yet so I am hoping that this is only a problem that is unique to this pair. The holes in my ears are larger so I did not have any difficulty getting the posts to go through my earlobes. The earrings are quite comfortable & sit well on the ears.
