Sound of Flute

Up close, this composition may look like scribbles of ink, but when viewed from a distance, a woman playing a flute materializes. Ghanaian artist Joseph Kobina Prah uses black ink to create this stunning expressionist composition. According to the artist, most African music is played by men, but there is a growing appreciation for women in this art.
