The garnet is rich and deep in colour. The design allows for minor variations in cut stone - I would have rated this 5 if one of the garnets was not angled - it's not unstable, and the imperfection emphasises its handmade origins. I will wear this often - a reminder of holy bloodshed.

The cross isn?t very big but the workmanship and the stunning color of the stones make up for it?s size.
