Quiet and regal, this long rectangular African mask depicts a thankful man. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu works in sese wood to craft his original design. Named Aseda ba, 'thanksgiving' in the Akan language, it is adorned with textured aluminum repoussé on the forehead and brass on the slender cheeks.
