Gye Nyame, an adinkra symbol meaning 'except God' in Akan, is prominently displayed on the center of this stunning mask's forehead. The symbol represents the belief of the omnipotence and supremacy of God. A dove is perched atop of the mask with it's red head peering over the face. Ghanaian artisan Kwaku Ofosuhene Apenteng handcrafts this original sese wood wall mask.
