Cradled in Love

The artisan states that her subject is: 'a village woman, beautifully adorned in traditional attire, taking a moment as she returns back home after the day’s work at the fields to enjoy the company of her child. She intends to give her child happiness, good health and protection.' The bright pinks, yellows and blues of the mother and child are eye-catching against a teal and deep brown background.
