Shimmering shades of green and cream cover this elegant scarf. Yuni Kristina recreates the parang raja. One of many traditional batik motifs, it symbolizes the ancient Javanese kingdom in general. She stamps the green patterns on pure silk and adds the red blossoms with the batik motif.

    NICE SCARF

    I bought 2 Chartreuse #344505, a little too much blue, beautiful design and the right size 55"X21.75". The Chartreuse was not quite the shade intended for this friend, I ordered another scarf 'Royal Java Green'. Perfect! except the width was much narrower than the other one, 55"X11.75". The scarf came with a cloth pouch but not gift wrapped as requested.

    She was very impressed with the color, during church women kept coming up and asking her about the feel of the material and where she got it from. I love buying items that are hand made and from other countries.

    The silk scarf is delicate and beautifully crafted. It came inside a cotton printed bag with a small card with the artist's message and story. I'm sompleased with my purchase!!!
