I particularly want to create wildlife and other animal themes in an exact, realistic and original way,' explains artisan Nengah Suarsana, who hand carves the delightful duck from local albesia wood, which he then paints by hand in amazing detail.

    I purchased this female mallard for my husband as a Christmas gift. The attention to detail is spectacular! My husband loved it and it rests on our fireplace mantle.

    This is the second Duck I have ordered from this artist. Another beautiful job done, very detailed & gorgeous! I would not hesitate to order another one. Again the packaging was impeccable & in perfect shape on arrival!

    I have now purchased six pieces of art from Nengah Sudarsana and I can't say enough about how beautiful they all are. I purchased this Female Mallard duck for my home and it is proudly displayed in my family room. I have others by him on display in my foyer.

    This is a truly gorgeous carving! The shape is so realistic, and the paint job is so detailed and amazing. It is so rare to find a Female Mallard, any carving is usually of the male. This artist is very talented, having made this piece one of the most "life-like" I have ever seen -I hope to buy more in the future.
