Inspired by Navajo symbolism, Mexican artisan Roy Nilson designs a cultural pair of dangle earrings in the style of Taxco handicrafts. Each earring is crafted of sterling silver and detailed with the oxidized Navajo symbol for mountains. A sterling feather dangles below each earring.
In the Andes, the Land of the Four Corners, mountains are sacred. So is culture. The Nazca lines, the Wari glyphs, the Quipu knots and the complex multi-colored textiles of the Incas are all recorded and live on the work of contemporary Peruvian artisans.
