Big Black Pucara Bull

Maribel Posso Olivares is proud to present her own designs in this ceramic figurine, fusing Spanish and Peruvian art styles to depict a black bull with hand-painted floral motifs and metallic-colored horns and accents. The sculpture is inspired by the myth of the torito de Pucar√°, a sacrificial bull that saved the town of Pucara by piercing the side of a mountain with its horn, resulting in a flood of water that brought great joy to the village people.
