Dragonfly Kiss

The charming dragonfly in this darkly oxidized and polished sterling silver pendant looks like it just escaped from the forest area of Jaipur, the native city of artisan Babun Dey. The Indian designer combines a trio of faceted green peridots in bezel settings totaling 1.2 carats to create the dragonfly's body, with a round stone for the head, an oval-shaped one for the body and a pear-shaped one for the tail. The wings are decorated with fine rawa work, a type of jewelry embellishment that utilizes diminutive metal granules. It's possible to adjust the length of the necklace's rolo chain which closes with a lobster claw clasp.
