Description

Fluttering butterflies are painted by hand against a field of sepia, to adorn decorating this decorative box from Peru. Following a meticulous process, Asunta Pelaez paints the motifs on the reverse side of glass panes for a wonderful clarity of color. The lid lifts open to a single-compartment interior for storing small objects and accessories.

This Butterfly Box is even more beautiful than its pictures. Vibrant colors and perfect details. Very well made. Gave it to my wife for her birthday and she loves it!
