Inspired by African culture, Ghanaian artisan Robert Lanyo creates this set of four ornaments. He works with natural ebony wood, hand-carving two depictions of the African continent. The other two ornaments take the form of the Adinkra symbol Sankofa, which depicts a bird reaching to grab an egg off of its back.
