Flower Seller

Walking towards a blue vastness, a flower seller travels with baskets of colorful flowers that are slung over his shoulder via a quintessential long stick. Brazilian artist Marcia Grijo captures this composition in an expressionist style, depicting her subject with a classic pointed hat and Vietnamese garb. Says the artist, 'I was inspired by the beauty of life in the country, harvesting flowers to provide for the family.'
