Kingfisher

These are just the right size for me - they're very short and close to the ear, but wide, so they bring attention to my face (I have a rounder face and short neck; 3" earrings will touch my shoulders). They are sturdy and slightly heavy, but not uncomfortable at all, and the catch is secure. From a typical social distance of a foot or so away they just look textured, so the bird design is a secret/surprise for people to notice. My sister complimented the earrings the first time I wore them and was delighted when I showed her that they were birds! I love these. It's a true silver color, too, and more flattering against my light olive skin than the white silver that's so popular. I've been wearing these non-stop since they arrived and they are definitely a new favorite. Love, love, love. A+.

These feel substantial without being too heavy, and the craftsmanship is excellent. They go with everything, while being more interesting than plain silver basics.

These are beautiful! The kingfishers are exquisitely detailed, and the earrings are the perfect size -- not too big, not too small, not too heavy, although they're heavier than other half hoops. One of the things I look for in earrings is a post or wire that's sturdy and secure but not difficult to get in. These fit the bill (sorry for the bad pun). These look great with my jeans and T-shirts, but they'd look just as good with dressier outfits.
