Roy Nilson expertly replicates the canine glyph of Xul, which identifies the sixth month of the Maya Haab calendar. Meaning, 'limit' as well as 'ending,' the Xul month hosted the Hanal Pixan celebrations, similar in meaning to Mexico's Day of the Dead celebrations. Xul also means 'wisdom,' and it is the month in which the land is sowed. The pendant is crafted of sterling silver.
