Geometric motifs surround this intriguing sculpture, their color achieved by applications of white clay. 'Such diminutive ottoman thrones are used as stools by the Senufu tribe of Northern Cote D'Ivoire,' says artisan Salihu Ibrahim. He carves the piece from seasoned African sese wood.
