"When I began studying for my professorship, I discovered a new world when I was introduced to the different forms of art. The teachings of art, music, and choir began pushing me, slowly, without me realizing it, toward what I do today. <br><br>
"During my professional life I have asked to direct activities linked to music, theater, and the organization and realization of exhibits and events in the schools where I worked, specializing in courses within teaching, until, finally, I became a teacher of applied fine arts. <br><br>
"I am a descendent of Italians from the region of Basilicata and I think that my attraction to the arts may be something genetic. To know Italy is to see up close the art that encouraged me further. <br><br>
"My favorite theme, inside the contemporary figurative, is that of flowers, compositions with vases, and Greco-Roman elements, and I also explore the different types of regions of Brazil. Nature is a theme of inspiration <I>hors concours.</I> The presence of God is manifested throughout the beautiful forms and harmonious colors. I am guided by this presence and I find enormous pleasure in being connected with the Divine in those moments when I am painting."
