Framed by embossed aluminum, a red design forms the 'third eye' of this African mask from Ghana. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu designs this mask, which is hand-carved from a single piece of sese wood and painted orange. Embossed aluminum further accentuates the cheeks of this mask, which is named Esbuna, meaning 'be happy' in the Igbo language of Nigeria.
