Night in the Garden

This scarf is just the thing to wrap around bare shoulders on a summer evening, or to wind around my neck inside my coat on a chilly day. It's light as air and so thin I can carry it in a coat pocket without even creating a bulge?and yet it does add a touch of warmth when I need it. The design is lovely and well executed. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

This absolutely gorgeous shawl is made from some of the finest silk I've ever had the privilege to touch. It is so soft and light, yet sturdy and the batikking is impeccable! I love the black version, as it shows up the print so beautifully! It almost has a vintage Arts and Crafts feel to the pattern. Nice enough to display in one's home - the bedroom perhaps...? I have since thought of getting another color either for myself or a very good friend or family member...well worth it.

I get a lot of curious, appreciative looks at this one.
