This snowy owl sets down after flying through the frigid winds of the north. Actually, this bird is an alebrije, part of a folk art tradition that carves animals and adds bright colors and hand-painted designs. He was created and signed by Gerardo and Teresa Ojeda of Oaxaca, Mexico.
