Inspired by the chenteño fretwork embroidery of San Vicente Coatlan in Oaxaca, Mexican artisan Mariana Barranco creates this gorgeous pendant necklace. She crafts the necklace of 14k gold-plated bronze, adding a white cultured pearl beneath the diamond-shaped pendant. A second pearl accents the clasp, which is engraved with the artisan's initials.

The name 'chenteño' derives from 'Chente,' the affectionate nickname for Vicente, the town's patron saint.
