Blessing Cat

Gift for my boyfriend who took it to work to remind himself to breath when stressed out - which is often!

I gave this to a friend who was having a bad day and she fell in love with it. I explained that this was created by my favorite artisan and she was so excited when she saw the signature. She wanted to know his name, and, when I told her, she decided to change it a bit. She named him Desi, short for Desidero, or wish in Italian. He has a permanent place in her bedroom.

This was a gift for my mother and she absolutely loved it! Quality is terrific!

This is my second carving from the artist and it is just as beautiful and peaceful as the "meditating cat". The "blessing cat" is displayed at the entrance to my house to bless those who enter. I love it!
