Description

This hard-working executive sits in front of his computer under the glare of a desk lamp, phone always nearby. The statuette is fabulously detailed and rich in expressiveness, a feat considering that all of the components are metallic. Armando Ram√≠rez shapes the executive with a car's spark plug for the body, pieces off a die machine for the head and wires for the arms and legs. What once was a window screen is now the keyboard, and the rest of this admirable sculpture includes upcycled sheets of metal, wires, and further pieces discarded off a die.

Ram√≠rez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.

I got this for my sister-in-law who is retiring as a little side gift. Not only did it come beautifully wrapped but the piece is exceptional! The attention to detail is amazing. I could not have asked for more! What a different gift! Don't hesitate in purchasing.

As soon as I saw this I knew I had to send it to my nephew who was getting started in a new business. He loved it. The phone and lamp made the sculpture look just like his desk with him sitting at it. I love to give these sculptures as gifts. I even have one I got for myself. The Rustic Fluitist. Frequently I check what is new, just in case, I will find some delightful item for another friend or family member would appreciate.
