Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu creates this stunning mask that is hand carved from rubberwood to resemble a woman's face. The extravagant head wear is covered with intricately textured aluminum repoussé metalwork, which creates a lovely contrast against the hand-painted pastel pink and spring green wood. The artisan names his unique design okuyigugu, which is a Zulu word that translates to 'precious.'
