Working with natural dyes obtained from leaves, tree bark and cochineal, Alberto Ruiz creates a colorful fantasy for the design of this shoulder bag. Resembling a mystical grid, patterns are woven on a traditional pedal-loom with techniques first developed by the Zapotec people. There's a pocket in the cotton canvas lined interior, and the straps are braided by hand.
