Star Truntum

Traditional batik hand stamping and updated classic Indonesian motifs come together in this stunning shawl designed by Yuni Kristina. The truntum motif is believed to have been designed by Kanjeng Ratu Kencana, the Queen of Kasutanan Surakarta. It inspired Yuni Kristina to create the star truntum, featured on this silk wrap in shades of moss and jade on an ochre background. While the traditional truntum is characterized by a flower and dot pattern, the star motif featured on this gorgeous shawl introduces a new batik shape that adds depth to the original design.
